        A Lunatic Hero

        She groaned as she ran through the streets, not even bothering to
        shield herself from the rain. Her ears were drooped to the side of her
        head, and her four tails were dragging on the floor, as if this
        creature didn't even care. 'Gotta find mister shelter, gotta find
        mister help!' She thought to herself, ignoring the water that kept
        hitting her skin. She ignored the people staring at her, some with
        lust in their eyes at seeing a bodied yukkuri naked, she ignored
        glares of pet yukkuri, badged or no. Safety was the number one thing.

        Her eyes opened wide, spotting a box off in the distance. Knowing her
        luck, it may be occupied, but hopefully it isn't. And if it is, then
        she'll move onto the next one. She doesn't care, she'll just keep on
        going. She can't die, she won't die... but she might die.

        She opened the box, it was empty. 'Yes! Mister box is Ran's!' The
        bodied yukkuri dove into the box and closed it up, holding it as tight
        as she could. She couldn't let them find her, she couldn't! Uneasy
        humans are uneasy... She groaned as she looked at her right ear. It
        was tagged, and she couldn't touch it. She knew they'd find her...
        they always find her... Why is Ran still alive? Mister humans can't
        take it easy...

        She waited for what seems like forever, yukkuri came and probably died
        trying to open the box, but Ran wouldn't let them in. To let them in
        would be suicide. She can't have this box open. Not during the rain.
        Her only chance of escape would be to run and get help when mister
        rain was gone.

        (Flashback)

        Ran looked around and sighed, today was a busy day... there was no way
        she wouldn't be picked. She looked at a bodied Yuka-chen over in the
        corner. Three customers, three of them came for her, and it would only
        grow. Ran always felt sorry for Yuka-chen, she was always the most
        popular. Though Ran is popular too. Mister humans seemed to like those
        with different ears and those with tails.

        The door opened, and a human with a blue jumpsuit and a gas mask came
        in. "Here's sum mor comp'ny fer ya!" The human said, opening the gate.
        Ran tried to get up, but the human tossed in two bodied yukkuri, a
        Minoriko and a Shizuha, both of them looking confused. The other
        yukkuri looked at them with pity, with the exception of Yuka-Chen.

        (Current)

        Ran sighed as the box tried to open again. Another yukkuri was trying,
        but they were too weak to do it. "Let Marisa in, mister box!" The
        Marisa yelled in panic. There were other voices outside, but Ran
        couldn't identify them.

        (Flashback)

        "Let Marisa out!" A bodied Marisa yelled as she banged on the gate.
        She couldn't take it anymore, she wanted out, and she wanted out now.
        "Marisa can't take it easy with mister humans! Let Marisa go, please!"
        She wasn't even yelling, she was begging. Ran looked on with sadness
        at Marisa, she kept doing this day by day... nothing ever came out of
        it. Marisa was one of the oldest ones here, she was also one of the
        most violent, due to her age and treatment. She looked like she would
        have been attractive, but that was completely ruined by her position
        here.

        Ran got up and walked over to Marisa, the other yukkuri not even
        caring if they got stepped on. In fact, some wanted to get stepped on,
        but Ran's steps weren't heavy enough to do any damage. She got to
        Marisa and put her hand on Marisa's bare shoulder. Marisa looked back,
        glaring, but she wasn't moving to attack. She knew it wouldn't change
        anything. Marisa sighed as she slumped to the floor.

        (Current)

        Ran sighed, the Marisa went away. Mister rain had to stop soon, it had
        to. She needed to get help from someone, and in mister rain, it would
        be suicide to get out. However, she felt the box get picked up, and
        since she was heavier then the box's 'floor', she fell through,
        slightly surprising a mister human. Ran didn't care what he looked
        like, she just ran as fast as he could.

        (Flashback)

        Ran looked up, as did the rest of the yukkuri, as the door opened. In
        came a mister human wearing a purple suit, and behind him was another
        mister human with a white shirt and blue pants. Already, Ran could
        tell he was hard, and her nerves were flaring up. Who would it be?

        "The one over there, the fox." The other mister human, Mister White.
        Ran knew it was her they were talking about, her ears drooped,
        obviously not very pleased about this.

        "Well, that'll be $45 for tonight." Mister purple said, holding out
        his hand. Mister uneasy human forked over three bills. Ran had no clue
        what they were, but mister purple motioned for the blue-jumpsuited
        mister, Mister Blue. Mister White looked excited as Mister Blue opened
        the door. Ran got up and tried to get away, but Mister Blue was too
        fast, and got her before she could move.

        "Gotchya, littl yukkuri." Mister Blue said, his grip strong.
        "Tuhnoite's yer noight." Ran struggled to get out, but Mister Blue's
        grip was way too strong. He walked out of the cage, and motioned to
        Mister White with his head. A follow me thing. Mister Purple smiled to
        himself as he walked out.

        The trip felt long as Mister Blue walked her to a room. She could
        already hear a lot of other mister humans, and a lot of other bodied
        yukkuri... Mister Blue got to a room and unlocked it, directing Mister
        White inside. Mister Blue tossed Ran inside before shutting the door.

        Ran looked up at Mister White, who was slowly getting undressed, as if
        savoring it. Ran began to cry, this wasn't fair.

        Mister White unzipped his trousers...

        (Present)

        Ran was scared, mister human had to be working for Mister Purple! She
        had to get away from mister human! It was at this time a black
        limousine stopped in front of her escape route.

        (Flashback)

        Ran managed to hit Mister White in his privates, he was out for now.
        Ran had to get out, mister window was the only way! Ran grabbed Mister
        White's watch and tossed it at the window, it didn't break. In a
        panic, she tried again, it still didn't break. Mister White was waking
        up, and he looked pissed. "You... rotten yukkuri!" Mister White said
        as he reached for Ran, but she managed to get away and hide under the
        bed. "You think you can hide from me!?" Mister White grabbed one of
        Ran's tails and pulled hard, ripping it off.

        "AAAAAHHHHHH!" Ran yelled, extreme pain shooting through her body.
        Mister white wasn't satisfied with this as he grabbed another tail and
        pulled it off. "STOB ID! RAB JUZD WAND DO DAJE ID EAJY!" Mister White
        wasn't happy with this as he pulled another tail off. three down, six
        to go. Ran tried to go farther under the bed, but another tail was
        grabbed. "Stob id."

        "Gotcha!" Mister White said, pulling as hard as he could. He pulled
        too hard, and hit the window, causing it to crack. "Gah! My hand!" Ran
        got out from under the bed, now was her chance. Mister White dove at
        her, but Ran was able to run under the human. He was attacking in
        rage, making a bunch of foolish mistakes. Ran picked up Mister White's
        mister watch and threw it at the window. It made a fairly large hole
        through the crack. She tried to dive through it, but Mister White
        caught another tail.

        "Heh, finally got you, piece of shit. Time to die." Mister White said.
        In a panic, Ran pulled on her tail, it came off, letting her go free.
        Mister White was stunned as Ran got through the hole. She was lucky to
        avoid the sharp glass, though enough damage has been done. Mister Blue
        threw open the door, but it was too late to stop them.

        (Present)

        Mister Blue stepped out of the limo, face hidden by the mask. People
        around him were beginning to stare. Ran's metaphorical heart sank,
        there was no hope for her... She was going to get caught and brought
        back to the uneasy place. "Weall weall, lookee who we gat here!"
        Mister Blue said, looking straight at Ran. He pulled out a gun,
        instantly stopping any resistance from other mister humans.

        "Gud bye, littol Yukkuri!" Mister Blue said, pulling the trigger...

        BANG.

        Ran held her eyes shut tight, she awaited the end... but it never
        came. She opened an eye and looked out, Mister Blue fell down, a hole
        in his head. Mister Purple, inside the car, looked on in shock. He
        said something, but she didn't know what. He drove away in a panic,
        leaving Mister Blue on the street. A strong hand was placed on her
        shoulder. "Ran is sorry! Don't hurt Ran!" Ran begged. The voice on the
        other end chuckled.

        "I'm sorry, did I scare you?" Ran opened her eyes, it was the mister
        from earlier. She tried to back up, but other mister humans were
        coming in. These mister humans in this weird uniform. They had mister
        dogs with them, too, these uneasy mister humans. She got a better look
        at the mister that contacted her. He was tall, with short messy purple
        hair. He is wearing a black suit with a red tie. The two most striking
        features are his eyes, one of them completely red, and the other, the
        iris was blue, and the second feature was two long rabbit ears on his
        head. "Hmph, police. Hold on, I'll get you out of here."

        Ran was grabbed by her arm, an action that she was all too familiar
        with. This caused her to panic, but without warning, she blacked out.

        -----

        Ran gasped as she woke up. She looked around, she looked left, right,
        up, down... Mister White wasn't here, it wasn't a dream! But she had
        no clue where she was. She looked down and saw a large pink shirt on
        her. This surprised her, she hasn't had mister clothes in a long time!
        But, how did she get here?

        "You woke up, eh?" A mister said. Ran looked back in panic, it was
        that mister with Reisen ears. "Glad to see you up. I thought you would
        have died from that." Ran backed up, ready to get away if necessary.
        Mister Reisen ears held his hands up. "Hey, I'm not going to do
        anything, I promise." Ran glared at him, not necessarily believing
        him, but he hasn't started to remove mister clothes yet, so she held a
        bit of trust.

        "Ran isn't stupid! Mister just wants to refresh with Ran! All humans
        want to refresh with Ran... Ran can't take it anymore..." Ran said.
        She started out strong, but as she spoke, she quickly was reduced to
        crying.

        "I understand how you feel, Ran. I was in a position much like that,
        myself." Mister Reisen Ears said as he sat down on the bed. "Us moon
        bunnies aren't really respected on the moon, you see. We're a lot like
        you, actually. Forced to work for greedy people. It's sickening, isn't
        it, to be used as a toy. That's all WE were to those overlords, a
        toy." Ran looked at Mister Moon Bunny as he began to frown. He was
        scary, but he wasn't nearly as bad as the others.

        But that could change. She can't let him in, she just can't. "Ran
        won't be stupid... Mister Reisen-ears is tricking Ran. Ran knows it."
        Ran said, backing up to the wall. Mister Moon Bunny shrugged.

        "Believe what you want... I just wanted to help you, you remind me so
        much of me." The moon bunny said, looking back. "But if you want to
        get back at the ones who used you... talk to me, and I'll get revenge
        for you." Ran didn't move as Mister Moon Bunny walked out of the
        room.

        "Ran doesn't know what to do..." Ran spoke in a whisper. She was about
        to cry, she had no idea what was going on. Mister moon bunny was
        offering her to get revenge on everyone who... used her?

        Mister Purple, Mister White... All the various misters that refreshed
        with her? All of them? ... Yeah, she wanted that... but what if this
        mister is lying to her?

        But what if he wasn't?

        "Ran's head hurts..." Ran said as she looked at the door. She was
        scared, but she wanted to get back at Mister Purple a lot more. And to
        help out the others. She gambled on escaping, maybe this one would
        work, too.

        Ran walked out of the room and looked into the next room. It was a
        dark hallway, but there was a door right across the hall from her. The
        door was open. Ran thought to just run down the hall, but she had to
        do this. She wanted cold, hard vengeance. She walked in, the moon
        bunny looked at her and asked. "You want revenge? I don't blame you. I
        do too, against my own oppressors. But yours are a lot easier to deal
        with for now."

        "... Ran wants to help the other yukkuri..." Ran said, a bit ashamed
        for asking this. The moon bunny smiled, causing Ran to second guess
        herself. He was lying to her, she had to get away! But... what she
        heard next was something she wouldn't expect.

        "Don't worry about it. I'll take care of everything." Ran looked up,
        about to respond, but the moon bunny held his hand up. "I'm sorry, but
        it might be a bit dangerous for you to come. I'll do it when the time
        comes." Ran looked up in shock, he wasn't lying!? "I'll make sure that
        you get to see everything, I promise. Those evil people will never
        hurt you again." The moon bunny motioned to her ear. "You're already
        free, you probably noticed... now to finish the deal."

        "... Th-thank you... Ran is so happy... mister is doing this... Ran
        will do anything if mister means this..." Ran said, beginning to cry.
        The moon bunny hugged Ran, this made her feel a bit uncomfortable, but
        also more comfortable at the same time.

        "Don't thank me, I'll be happy to get rid of scum like that." The moon
        bunny replied, letting Ran go. "It's time to get something to eat, you
        must be hungry." Ran looked up in shock, he was going to feed her? She
        hasn't eaten in two days!

        Maybe he was the help she needed after all...

        (A/N: This story was hard for me to release, because it was just so
        weird for what I normally write, I hope you liked it.)
